SOHCO is headed up by a strong and involved Board of Directors. Heather Maxwell is the board appointed CEO and oversees the daily running of SOHCO as well as the long term strategic direction. Heather is assisted by teams located in Durban, East London and Cape Town. Each city has a general manager and tenant liaison and admin officers located on sites and in their respective regional offices. The General Managers make sure that all operational aspects of the complexes run smoothly.

The teams pay special attention to:
• Rapid following-up of any arrears.
• Keeping buildings in good physical condition.
• Building positive relationships with tenants.

 SOHCO Head Office in Durban is staffed by well trained admin managers familiar with the complexities and responsibilities associated with Social Housing.
